In this video I respond to Lockergnome’s video talking about Tech Reviewers and their credibility.

The discussion talks about how many reviewers don’t give an honest and critical opinion about a product and says everything is amazing and good when a lot of the product are mediocre at best. In my video I discuss the fact that may reviewers don’t ask themselves or the companies or PR teams of the products What is the Main Focus? What is the target market? What is the main goal. When these questions are not asked and the review is not focused around theses questions you can get products review completely wrong with a bad product getting a better review than it should and a good product getting a bad review.

I also go into discussion about the rankings and ratings systems out there and how i believe they do don’t the consumers out there any service. Watch the video and leave your opinions and comments below.

    You made some really good points. Most people review things all on a level playing field, even though some products at a lower price point aren’t trying to compete with the higher priced items. Don’t agree 100% with the rating system comments, but I can see where you’re coming from.

    @mp4podcastDOTcom Also a tech reviewer on FOX NEWS by the name Clayton Morris makes the same mistakes that Chris makes. He gave the Kodak Zi8 a great review and he’s a MAC user and did not even think about people with Windows machines.

    Also Kodak uses plastic trip pod holes. That’s just junk of Kodak.

    @mp4podcastDOTcom Also Chris reviewed products that are not so great and given great reviews. He reviewed the Kodak Zi8 and the files from the Kodak Zi8 do not work that great with Windows Software editing problems.

    Also almost all of you tech reviewers have given Apple TV a great review. Does Apple give you free downloads on content you buy NO. Amazon VOD stream all the content you bought and even download the file all you want.

    Apple TV I have to pay for backing my stuff.

    Do not take this the wrong way, but I think almost every tech reviewer and even you have made huge mistakes when reviewing Android devices. Android has a memory problem that is so bad that if you install a lot of Apps your android phone or tablet will lock up and feel like you bricked your phone.

    Also Chris reviewed products that are not so great and given great review of the Kodak Zi8 that does not work that well with Windows. If you review a problem you have to say what works with it.
