China Toys Recall : Who should be accountable?

When I had my baby, I found on ONLINE through Target’s product consumer review that Plastic bottles and lead paints were toxic to babies. I couldn’t find anything safe for my baby at the store so I went as far as Germany, Austria, and Canada to order safe baby products, toys online. Other European countries banned toxic toys a long time ago. Up today, I can’t buy anything at the store because all American toy companies products are made in China. How come we don’t make toys? Some blame China, some blame our leader lawmaker, some blame US toy company, some blame the parents/consumer, some blame on our lack of education to make intelligent choice. Some one has to be held accountable for poisoning our children, otherwise it will never change.

    China approves of slave labor and so US companies buy from there to get super cheap toys and sell at astronomical prices and make huge profits, you could blame China and its lax laws on child labor and slave labor, you could blame the US companies for buying Chinese products or you could blame the fact that US comapnies now have to pay people larger wages and would be able to make a profit by manufacturing here – way to go minimum wage and labor unions.

    Now all of that said, you do realize that millions of us grew up playing with items made in China and have not had one problem because of it.

    Make it your responsibility to only buy "Made in USA"
    If it isn’t available…make it, or you don’t need it.

    WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?
    Chinese toy companies that knowingly use poisons to paint children’s toys and knowingly put poison in pet food.

    and retailers in the US so greedy that they export only chinese made products that are crap, fall apart don’t work and make the term "Made in Japan," seem like the most important and appealing slogan I have ever seen in my lifetime.

    Stop buying Chinese. My message to the world.
    Boy cott wal mart, who moved its corporate manufacturing headquarters to Beijing

    do you hate this country so much that you can only buy chinese products because you save 5 cents
