I guess he means “maple fretboard” I think most all Ibanez guitar have a maple neck.

But what I wouldn’t give for them to bring back the piezo bridges! Oh man a basswood rg 7 string with piezo bridge in something other than black (maybe a maple top) would be perfect!

    My RG3550MZ kick serious ass.

All the DiMarzio pu on this guitar are top notch (It’s no Evo, but still). Especially love the Tone Zone and True Velvet Single Coil. Ah….just plug it into a Mesa Boogie and you’ll know what I mean.

Once you go Ibaneck you wont go back.

@Judoking96 dont quote me but i think the prestiges have thinner necks, you will hav to check dimensions on the website, my neck on mine in the thinnest they make, 5 piece wizard neck, i have big hands and have been use to playing fat fender necks, so now my hand plays effortlsly on this neck,

what he said is not …
what he said is not necessarily true.
Ive been playing Ibs since 87 and can tell you that since 03 Ibanez quality has been downhill.Thats when they lost the patten to the edge, low pro edge trems with Floyd Rose. And nothing since compares to them.I still buy Ibanez but swap the trems for the originals,Edge,LP Edge. But they do make nice project axes, the 1570 on my page is an 07 and one of my fav guitars.401 sustainer and LP edge did help that.Prestige def not better quality than any pre 03
