Is Consumer Reports Wrong?
February 27th, 2011 | by admin |
In the August 2010 issue of Consumer Reports Magazine, a very well respected and accurate product tester/reviewer, did a test of the Beats By Dr. Dre “Solos” and the Apple headphones with remote and mic. They said that the Dr. Dre “Solos” had less quality of sound and was less convenient. I respectfully disagree. Even athletes from several of the World Cup teams were listening to the “Solos” (watch the openings of the matches). I want to hear your opinions in the comment section.

@TheScotopian …
@TheScotopian Actually, if you look closely the magazine says earphones with remote, it never mentions in-ear headphons. Also, noise isolating technology was never mentioned, only the fact that the beats block out background noises to a certain level.

@JohnnyRamoneRulez …
@JohnnyRamoneRulez I agree, but the test was not on price, it was on quality. They had the Bose at the top (they are amazing btw), and those are $120 more than the beats.

I think Consumer …
I think Consumer Reports must’ve based it on price. The apple headphones are better because when you buy an ipod they are free and on the otherhand the Beats are an extra 200
