What’s a good consumer site that offers reviews AND the lowest prices on items?

I need to do some comparison shopping, but I am leery of some of the product review sites b/c I feel they may be biased by recieving $$ from companies.
I’m searching for a Sony portable DVD player, Fx820. Amazon has it the "cheapest" but the shipping is $22!

Is amazon.com selling the item? If they are then the shipping price is legit. If they aren’t, then the shipping price is probably too expensive. Also try cnet.com for reviews. Then…go to shopping.com and type in the product to get comparison prices. Just about all the companies on there have been proven to be legit.

    The only website or magazine that I know of that is UN-BIASED and shows NO FAVOURITISM is Consumer Reports. They accept NO advertising, and thus are beholden to NO company.

    For the website, try http://www.consumerreports.com or http://www.consumersunion.com (it might be .org).

    The magazine is available at the newsstand or in most bookstores and larger grocery stores.

    Do a google search for customer reviews. Type in product name + customer reviews. If they’re out there you’ll find them. On a basic level I find that Amazon frequently has customer reviews and for electronics I always check newegg .com for their customer reviews.

    As to the cheapest price, again you’ll have to search and it will be a different search. By the way, I ALWAYS take shipping into account when determining the cheapest price.

    $ 151 .84 from Amazon and eligle for Amazon Prime shipping. That’s a good deal if you have Amazon Prime http://www. amazon .com/gp/product/B00139R1TA

    $ 158 .54 from walmart and they’ll ship free to the store http://www. walmart .com/catalog/ product .do?product_id=10204435&sourceid=17059053460253699185

    From the reviews I read this is a well liked product. Amazon is the best deal if you have Amazon prime shipping otherwise Walmart is the best deal and pick it up in the store rather than have it shipped to your home.
